The company says it has focused on using recycled materials in both the phone's construction and its packaging to create an environmentally positive proposition. The Nokia X30 5G arrives with a Snapdragon 695, dual camera with a 50 MP main sensor and a 6.43-inch screen, but without a charger. Let's see it in detail.
Nokia X30 5G Specifications
Nokia comes on eco-friendly
As we mentioned above, Nokia wanted the X30 5G to stand out for more than just its technical features. The company ensures that the frame of the terminal has been manufactured with 100% recycled aluminum and the back part with 65% recycled plastic. In addition, they point out, focusing on packaging has allowed them to reduce the ecological footprint of the terminal.
The cardboard box is made up of 70% recycled paper and, excluding the charger, is smaller in size. In this way, Nokia points out that it can transport more phones in the same space, which translates into a reduction in CO2 emissions. The absence of the charger also responds to address the problem of electronic waste.
The Nokia X30 5G comes with a Snapdragon 695 5G SoC, a mid-range Qualcomm proposal that we saw arriving at the end of 2021 and that was behind the Snapdragon 778G+ 5G in terms of performance. You will be able to opt for versions of 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
If we talk about the battery, it has a capacity of 4,200 mAh and supports fast charging of 33 W, although we will have to get a separate USB-C charger since it is not included. Do you remember that move by Apple to stop including this accessory ? It is now being replicated by many manufacturers, each with their own arguments.
The truth is that, in addition to its construction materials, another of the interesting points of the Nokia X30 5G is found in the photographic section. The terminal has a 50 MP PureView main camera with optical image stabilization and a 3 MP ultra wide angle, both protected by Gorilla Glass.
